MILAN, ITALY (SEPTEMBER 19, 2012) (REUTERS) - British designer John Richmond drew inspiration from the 50s for his golden collection which mixed fabrics and styles on Wednesday (September 19).
New geometric cuts for leather jackets and trousers gave the collection an air of creativity.
Metallic details shone on heels, bags and jewellery to convey a glamorous sense of luxury.
Some dresses had an accentuated waistline and A-line skirts to celebrate femininity.
Dresses in floral prints added an exotic allure to the eclectic show, which mixed lengths and styles.
Perforated leather and geometrical cuts form key parts of the British designer's summer collection
The designer worked a palette of clean bold colours, black and white, while prints had flowery and tattoo-inspired motifs
