China-Animal Laughs -- Collection of funny animal behavior in Chongqing, SW China
CCTV News - Cute performances by some adorable animals have been putting smiles on faces across China.
Domesticated animals have long been a great source of human entertainment. In Chongqing Municipality, SW China, a seemingly disabled dog drags its way forward strenuously as people watch on. In reality, it isn't begging for sympathy from the crowds, its 'miserable' condition is just a trick. It is perfectly healthy. Perhaps, this lonely dog just enjoys the attention.
Maternal love may be universal, but one little sea lion in Chongqing is suffering from, shall we say, excessive maternal care. Naturally, sea lions are especially fond of swimming, and a sea lion can swim just 12 days after birth. Already one month old however, the little sea lion is still spending its time on the ground instead of in the water. Every time he tries to swim in the water, he is forced back ashore by his mother. One can only imagine the poor little sea lion's heart is crying out for his mother to let him splash around like all the other pups. Cats and mice have always been each others' nemesis. This may sound strange to some, as in the famous cartoon animation Tom and Jerry, the mouse always seems to win out over Tom, the cat.
In reality, however, that isn't the case.
In broad daylight, one mouse repeatedly attempts to slip unseen to its home, but unfortunately, it's too near the cat to simply walk away. The cat, however, seems more interested in playing with the mouse as a toy than "feasting". After some time, it seems the mouse has found a way out, now if only someone would walk by to distract the cat...
