Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi offers career advice at a young people's rally - marry someone rich.
ROME, ITALY (SEPTEMBER 12, 2010) REUTERS - Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi showed off his humorous side on Sunday (September 12) as he addressed a youth rally in Rome.
Berlusconi's speech was peppered with jokes, including one about Hitler's supporters who discover he is still alive and track him down in the hope of persuading him to return.
The Prime Minister recalled a girl who had asked for some career advice.
"I looked at her and saw that she was very pretty and said: 'Find yourself a rich man'," a laughing Berlusconi told the crowd in Rome.
"It wasn't an unrealistic bit of advice and it is the same advice I give you, all you girls and also the boys, even though it is quite difficult. I am talking of finding a (rich) girlfriend instead of a boyfriend, let's be precise about this because otherwise the headline in La Repubblica will be 'Berlusconi has become gay'," he joked
