More than 700 people race through the streets of Boston wearing only Speedos and santa hats.

BOSTONMASSACHUSETTSUNITED STATES (DECEMBER 08, 2012) (UNIVERSAL PICTURES HANDOUT) - Boston - home to one of the world's most famous marathons - hosted a different sort of race on Saturday (December 08) - a "Santa Speedo Run." Sponsored by Universal Pictures as a promotion for the DVD release of the film "Ted," the race featured more than 700 people racing through the streets clad in nothing but santa hats and speedo-style bathing suits. The temperature in Boston was a chilly 46'F (8'C), so periodically the runners took to jumping jacks to stay warm. Runners did brave the cold for a good cause, however. The run was a charity race, with all proceeds benefitting the Play Ball Foundation, an organization focused on expanding sports for Boston middle school students.
